Suggested Kaleidoscope Bible Study Reflection Questions
Suggested questions for March/April, 2010
As we began a new lectionary cycle this Advent, the Kaleidoscope Institute is approaching its third birthday. That means we have gone through a three-year cycle of studying the Gospel lessons. Starting this past December, we have invited our readers to begin a new cycle of studying the Hebrew Scripture lesson for the next three years. If readers want to stay with the Gospel lesson, they can go to our newsletter archives. For questions tied to the Gospel for Year C, review our 2006 newsletters for lessons and suggested questions.
We suggest that you study one of the lectionary texts one week ahead. For example, for the week of March. 8–13, study the text for March 14. This way, the participants will go to church on Sunday having al- ready listened and reflected on one of the readings for that Sunday.
These questions are suggestions only. As a leader of the Kaleidoscope Bible Study process, you need to keep the theme of the biblical text and the context of the par- ticipants in mind as you determine what is the most appropriate reflection question for your group.
